While you might think you have seen enough versions the viral ‘pawri ho rahi hai’ trend, it has now made an entry into poll-bound West Bengal with BJP national president JP Nadda giving the catchphrase his own spin during an election rally in the state.
BJP chief JP Nadda on Friday, while addressing a rally, used the ‘pawri ho rahi hai’ meme’s catchphrase to push the saffron party’s promise of ‘parivartan’.
“Yeh Bengal ki prabuddh janta hai, yeh hum sab hai, aur Bengal main parivartan ki tayyari ho rahi hai [This is the enlightened public of Bengal, this is us, and people are getting ready for a change in Bengal],” Nadda said referring to the #PawriHoRahiHai trend in his speech.

The ‘Pawri’ fever spread across the country after a social media influencer from Pakistan, Dananeer Mobeen, posted a clip featuring her friends in which she said, “Yeh humaari car hai, aur yeh hum hai. Aur yeh humari pawri ho rahi hai [This is our car, and this is us. And we are having a party].”
“Pawri” was Dananeer Mobeen’s pronunciation of party. The video went crazy viral with millions of views.
