Mumbai: Music touches a person’s soul and sometimes this soul touching progression makes a person share a lot of feelings. Mohd Danish’s soulful performance left Indian Idol judge Himesh Reshammiya in tears. The reason for his tears was his brother.
This weekend, host Aditya Narayan’s family will grace the Indian Idol stage. Veteran singer Udit Narayan with his wife and daughter-in-law Shweta will feature for the family special episode.
Danish’s heart touching performance on the song Apne toh apne hote hain ( Apne) made all the judges emotional as he sang with such dedication. Himesh Reshammiya got so emotional that he could not control his tears.

During Danish’s performance, the reason for Himesh’s tears was his brother. As Danish sang the soulful song starring legendary actor Dharmendra and his sons – Sunny and Bobby Deol, he was missing his brother. Both Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani were seen consoling Himesh while he was telling about his brother and how much he means to him.
“Today, your performance made me so emotional that I couldn’t control my tears. The way you sang would make anyone cry as you sang it as if you were feeling it. This is a quality which segregates a good singer and fabulous sings. You have come a long way since your audition, and I hope you reach new heights in your life,” Himesh told Danish.
